Building Our New House!!

Je me souviens
-D’une terre trouvé par hasard par des chercheurs d’épices.
-De la découverte de peuples à la peau-rouge.
-Des bons échanges et des bons termes entre les Français et les autochtones de cette nouvelle terre.
-D’un empire français où régnait la paix sur cette terre très convoitée par d’autres peuples colonisateurs.
-D’une guerre, qui a duré plus de 150 ans entre les Français et les Anglais (pourtant beaucoup plus peuplés). Une guerre qui a fait des centaines de morts.
-Non pas d’un changement d’empire, mais bien d’une défaite sanglante et coûteuse pour tous les Français. La Nouvelle-France passe aux mains des Britanniques, le cour de l’histoire est changé lorsque les Anglais passe les murs du fort de Québec et marches sur les plaines d’Abraham.

-D’une longue période de survivance, répression et soumission du peuple Francophone. Longue période pénible où naît enfin la soif de l’indépendance. Notre peuple a survécu à la pire période qu’il ait connu donc survivra pour toujours.Je me souviens
-D’une envie de changement………..
-Des dates 1837-1838. Ces dates qui représentent la période où des patriotes, prêts à tout, tentent de reprendre terres, maisons, droits, langues et dignité.

- D’une province avec une histoire et une culture dont beaucoup font parties : Robert Nelson,Émile Nelligan, Robert Lepage, Gilles Vigneault, Pierre Bourgault, Félix Leclerc, René Lévesque, Yvon Deschamps, Plume Latraverse, Michel Tremblay, Dédé Fortin, Le cirque du soleil, Jean Leloup, Les Nordiques, Luc Picard, Les tams-tams du mont- royal, la poutine, Lalala human step,les Expos, les invasions barbares, Arlette Cousture, Francois et Jacques Lanctôt, Denise Filiatrault, Louis Caron,la Cie Unibroue, Massoud Al-Rachid, la tourtière, Pierre Lapointe, les bougons, Robert Charlebois, Le cirque Éloize, Jacques Lacoursière, le sirop d’érable, et tellement d’autres.

Il est parfois bien de se faire rappeler pourquoi il est inscrit «Je me souviens» derrière notre voiture et pourquoi nous fêtons aujourd’hui

Fathers Day!!

So I asked Luke What he wanted.... since he's the best Dad/husband EVER!! well when he said Camping.... I said... Lets go!!

I was excited really..... planned the Menu, found the Spot to pitch a tent... (Yeah RIGHT!!!;)
And we left Thursday night!!!
Got there it was almost Pitch black... All our Camping site were Taken.... Needless to Say the hubby was NOT happy!! So we kept on driving.... and Driving... Pulling a 32 feet Fifth Wheel.... Stock on the Mountain.... Not able to turn around..... Yep you got it... by now... Luke Is SO PIST!! (how ever you write that!!) Anyways... We finally Got to the Other side of the mountain where a highway to Duschene is... and we were able to turn around... we found a Nasty camping spot in hope to get some sleep and Planned to get up early the next morning to find a good spot before the rest of salt Lake city gets up there!!So after a short night we drove around and found a new road!!! anyways We found A bunch of GREAT spots.... and Finally Luke was Happy :)
That evening our Neighbors (the Fawson) joined us and we enjoyed the mountain/food together!! anyways.. here are some pics

That's the day we went Home... Yes I know....MAKE UP is the word!! Here's the two Men in My life!!!

Play Date at Aunt Katey's








So After our Super Dance Recital (go see Katey's blog for More info!) We planned Philly Cheese Steak Sandwichs Monday nights at Jim and Katey's.....












Weather permiting we enjoyed the back yard... With Grand-Ma and Granp-Pa too!!!



SO After the BEST Dinner EVER.... Seriously SO SO SO Yummy! WE decided to enjoye the Swing Set Lexi Got for her B-DAY!!


Look at Those Cutie pie!! Ok I admitte Im Totally Biast But Common you think so Too!!


So After a Swinging/Slidding Session we had to go enjoy the Trampoline to play a little Crack the Egg and Duck, Duck, Goose!!! Just to make sure we'd puke our dinner!! ( Just ask TY!!)










So even Jet after a while wanted to joined the fun!! and to our suprise he Did!!! But in the End the REAL kids ended up playing on the Tramp!!!! We had a good time!! Thank you for Dinner!

Memorial Day Week End!



Summer Is Officially Here!!

Like every Year since before Luke and I were Married we went to Vernal this memorial Day Week End!! It was the First Official Usage of the Fifth Wheel!!! So we got our camping Stuff, food and our Dogs and We hit the road!! Thursday night we set up camp in Grand ma Watkins Front Yard, Friday we enjoyed the weather, played a little Yahtzee with Mary Alice, did a little shopping preparing for the Barbecue!!





Our girls.. Molly and Mocha Just LOVED running around the pasture and playing with the Sprinklers!!!




Sunday afternoon we found out that Lydia's Family was camping up the mountain .... only 30 minutes away, so We went up to say Hi!!


It was SO Nice up there, Lost in the middle of No Where, the fire, the woods, the Stars and lets not forget the Sm ores!! yum ;) So we planned to be back the next day and hang out until Tuesday night!!



So Monday came along and the Tradition started at the cemetery to remember our family and friends that have passed, and then to Ann and Johny for the barbecue... And Back up the mountain for more fun with the Anders!!



We had a Blast in the mountains by Flamingorge with Nick, Lindsey, Maddy, Landon, Marcie, Austin, Lydia and Gary!! Hope to see you guys again soon!!!
